Mission Statement

The mission of the Assessors Office (Assessing Department) is to fairly and equitably value real and personal properties within the Town of Millis. We are committed to making certain that the data upon which valuations are made is accurate. All appraisal / assessment duties are performed in a manner consistent with statutory requirements without advocacy for, or accommodation of, any particular interests. It is imperative that the Board of Assessors and their staff are factual, objective, unbiased, and honest in all conclusions.
