Join Janet Parnes in this living history presentation as she portrays Frances Perkins, our country’s first female cabinet secretary and architect of Social Security. She will reveal the trials, trip-ups, and triumphs that characterized Frances’ 12-year term as FDR’s Secretary of Labor. Supported by a grant from the Millis Cultural Council. Cake will be served in honor of Frances Perkins’ birthday that day! Free.
